Let me share a brief story with you.  I am right-handed, but strongly
left-eye dominant.  I figured out years ago that I shoot much better
left handed so I can see the target (paper or critter) better, so I
practiced until I was comfortable with it, much to the chagrin of my
dad.

Change of scenery to the U.S. Army basic training at Fort Leonard Wood,
MO.  We were at a night-fire range, in foxholes with sandbag walls to
keep us from shooting one-another (or the Drill Sergeants).  I was
firing an M16A1 rifle, which is made for a normal right-hand shooter,
but was normally fired by left-hand shooters by using an adapter to
deflect the expended brass cartridges downward.  That night, the Drill
Sergeants did not have any.  As I was firing, one of the expended
cartridges hit the sandbags, bounced off, and landed squarely in the
chin-strap of my helmet.  I can assure you that expended brass is very
hot, and took a layer of skin with it when I was finally able to get my
chin-strap unfastened to get it out of there.  It made shaving
interesting for the next few days until it healed.

We differ strongly on politics, but agree on marksmanship.  I have fired
either very high Sharpshooter or Expert every time I have gone to the
range except once. I had a malfunctioning weapon, but still managed to
qualify. The Army went to requiring different firing positions for
qualification which make it more difficult to achieve expert, so I
consider high sharpshooter pretty good.

No squirrel recipes in MealMaster, but here's a rabbit recipe:

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.04

      Title: Wilderness Fried Rabbit With Pan Gravy
 Categories: Meats, Sauces
      Yield: 4 servings

      1 ea Fryer rabbit
    1/4 c  Margarine or butter
      4 tb Oil
           Milk for dipping
           Flour to coat
           Salt and pepper
      2 tb Flour
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/8 ts Black pepper
      1 c  Milk
      1 c  Water
           Paprika for garnish
           Parsley flakes for garnish

  Divide the rabbit into serving pieces, disjointing whenever possible.
  Dip each portion into milk.  Salt and pepper, then roll lightly in
  flour.

  Put 1/4 cup margarine and 4 T oil in heavy frypan over high heat.
  Put in the pieces, any bony sides uppermost. Lower the temperature at
  once and cook, uncovered, until the portions are brown on one side.
  Then turn just once and brown the other side.

  The meat will be crisp and done in slightly more than half an hour.
  Spread it out on absorbent paper and keep it warm while making the
  gravy.

  Pour out all the fat except enough to just cover the bottom of the
  frypan.
   Stir in 2 T flour, 1/2 ts salt, 1/8 ts freshly ground black pepper,
  smoothing these into a paste. Using the milk in which you immersed the
  meat, add additional milk to make a cupful.  Pour this, then a cup of
  water, slowly into the pan, all the time stirring.

  Simmer over low heat for 12 minutes, adding more milk and water if the
  gravy becomes too thick. Finally, sprinkle with paprika and parsley
  flakes.
