That is a pity.  Most streets here have lines for parallel parking,
but some of the wider ones have angle parking, which gets in more cars
per metre of kerb length.  "Right angle" parking would be even better.

You're right, I am surprised.  Our government is planning its future
strategies on the assumption that as yet unproven ways of sequestation
of CO2 from our coal-burning power stations and burying it underground
will actually work economically.  As coal is Australia's main export,
that would be wonderful - if it works, but I have doubts.

Understood.  I am surprised, yet again, at the engine change.

      Title: Sweet  And  Sour  Surprises
 Categories: Mains, Seafood, Offal, Newsgroups, May.rec
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      2 tb Corn starch
      2 tb Sugar
    1/2 ts MSG
      1    Chicken bouillon cube
    1/2 c  Water
    1/3 c  Vinegar
      1 c  Pineapple juice
      2 tb Soy sauce
      1 tb Butter or margarine
    1/2 lb Tiny meatballs
           ;cooked
    1/2 lb Shrimp, cooked
    1/2 lb Chicken or chicken livers,
           ;cooked
 
  Combine first 9 ingredients.  Cook and stir until mixture boils;
  cover and simmer 5 minutes.  Group cooked meatballs, shrimp and
  chicken (or livers) in sauce. Heat through; serve hot.
