Hi Michael,

RH> But you know, there are many people who will work hard to do anything
RH> actually resembling real work. It takes a lot of creative energy to
 RH> do that.

ML> Speaking of hurting my head! I figure you just said the
ML> opposite of what you meant.

So what do you think I said? Steve says I left out the word "avoid" but
that would make it imply something other than what I meant.

ML> For me, I can work with furious energy, but only on projects
ML> that don't resemble real work (whether they are or not).

I can work with furious energy either on real or "busy" work. I'd
prefer to expend my energy on real work but there are time "busy" work
is justified. (G)

ML> Without people who braved the germs, there would be neither
 ML> clinical medicine nor research!
RH> Yes but the way my immune system is, I don't want to deliberately
RH> endanger it to any thing so intentional.

ML> Some people are meant to do such things, some aren't.

Thanfully I'm not meant to do that type of thing. OTOH, I am good at
addling brains. Steve has heard quite a bit of my "left handed logic"
(it sounds good but in reality, what did she say?) over the years.

 RH> It sounds
RH> like, as you have guessed, they were a bit careless about the
 RH> repacking.

ML> Usually when the TSA has gone through my bags they've
ML> been good about putting things back - sometimes much
ML> neater than I packed in the first place. And once in a
ML> while they leave a nice little note that says something
ML> to the effect of "inspected by #23."

Something happened to those pills; guess we'll never know what. I've
never had any problems with TSA but don't try to encourage any either.
Little stuff is all bagged up, bigger things are put in with some
semblence of order. In the pre TSA days, on our initial flight to HI,
Steve had one suitcase that was just under 75 pounds and another really
close. He had a warning sticker on the heavier bag.

 ML> Title: Curried Creamed Radishes
RH> That's a different one! I think I'd rather have my radishes sliced in
 RH> a salad tho.
 ML> Heh.
RH> Would you eat them served that way?

ML> Probably. I'd think of them as "sort of turnips."

Turnips that can bite back at you.

ML> BTW, the beef was nice and
RH> tender; we'll use the rest as "pulled" beef, onion & mushrooms in sauce
RH> either as burritoes or over rice for another meal

 ML> Sounds good.

It was; I sliced a small onion and added it to the left overs, letting
them simmer about half an hour, evaporating most of the liquid. I also
added a bit of a home made version of Emeril's Southwest essence--maybe
about a teaspoon, at most. Served folded into warm whole wheat
tortillas with a scattering of extra sharp cheddar cheese and a simple
(lettuce, tomato and more cheddar) green salad on the side made for a
good supper. I got another small roast today at Whole Foods Market to
probably do the same way. Might add some red bell pepper to the mix
instead of mushrooms.

... I am positive that a definite maybe is probably in order.
