Hi Hap,

-> hn> No call on Wednesday either! And they have
-> hn> my cell number too! Ah well, when it comes it

-> Sounds like you need to call them.

 hn> When I got back from the Ballpark this
 hn> evening (6:30 pm) there was a message on
 hn> the answering machine...they wanted me to call
 hn> for an appt....and their hours were 8 am-8PM!!
 hn> So, I called...and now I'm scheduled for the MRI

Good! Nice that their hours were convenient for you to call back. They
could have stopped accepting calls around 6 pm.

 hn> on Saturday (didn't know they DID saturdays) the
 hn> 27th (M's on the road).Then a followup with the

IIRC, the one at Tripler operated 24/7. The cost to bring one "up to
steam" is high, compared to the cost of keeping it running once it is at
full power.

hn> ortho doc and then surgery (most likely).

Most likely, but if it improves the current situation, then go for it.

-> hn> will come! How close are you guys to Ft Bragg?
-> hn> Will you be looking there for medical and such?
-> hn> Or are you on the "economy"?

-> We're too far from Bragg, Pope AFB or Seymour Johnson AFB to get medical
-> care at any of them. It's "economy" all the way; haven't had it like
-> this since the last time we were civilian. (G) We did see some civilian
-> doctors in Savannah but the primary care & perscriptions were thru the
-> military clinic.

 hn> Welcome to the "real" world! (grin)

Crash! (reality hitting) After 26 years of dealing with the military
medical system as the primary one, we're wading our waythru the civilian
system. It's an experience, believe me. (G)

-> -> School should be just about over, isn't it? You will probably be off

-> hn> Anne's last day of school is the 19th of June,
-> hn> and the kids are getting more squirrelly by the

-> Good, only 6 more days to go. Some legislature here came up with the
-> bright idea of knocking the last 5 days off the school calendar "since
-> nothing is done anyway". Needlesss to say, that idea has pretty well
-> died.

 hn> Of course...because then the preceeding
 hn> 5 days become useless...and so on and so on!
 hn> Burrocrats....what a bunch of ....er...DONKEYS!!

Exaxtly! I sort of think this guy either didn't have children or forgot
what it was like on the last days of school. We had learning right up
until the days of final exams; field trips and "play days" were for the
lower elementary grades only. Upper elementary classes would have a
class picnic near the end of the year but most years it as just a chance
to have your regular lunch (if you brought one) outside on the school
grounds. If you bought lunch, you were expectedd to bring one that day.
We brought our lunch so the class picnic was pretty much a non eventful
meal as far as I was concerned. The one year our class had a picnic off
grounds, it was at the home of one of my classmates that had a swimming
pool. Go figure, I had German measles and couldn't go.

-> hn> minute! She's been working till 9pm every night
-> hn> on report cards, hopefully she'll have them finished
->  hn> by Monday.

-> Take her out to celebrate next week end.

 hn> More'n likely...MRI won't hurt me....I hope!

It shouldn't hurt but you might want a set of ear plugs. I didn't think
the noise level was that bad overall--reminded me of the old "Re-Beep"
game.

-> hn> off my feet for a few days at most...if that long!

-> Good--but still, don't push it if it's hurting--and use the pain pills.

 hn> Don't like em...but if I need em I'll use em!!

You will be thankful in the long run that you did.

-> hn> Hah! I'll bet I get little sympathy from
->  hn> this joint! (grin)

-> We all seem to know how to cut up, knees or otherwise.

 hn> That's so true! (grin)

That's what makes the echo so much fun to be a part of.

... Whatever awaits you around the corner, God is already there.
