Yeah, it was some voyage... My aunt had made the trip to from her son's house
in Georgia to Scranton alone, so Mom figured she could make the trip to NY
alone. The airline assured us she would be "taken care of" at every stop along
the way.  Well, she wasn't until we made SUCH big stink!!! anyway, she's here,
we're happy, and they did do good at the end finally (g).

I'm hoping :)  Everyone she's talked to has commented to myself and my daughter
how much more relaxed and happy she sounds - which is just so good to all of
us.

The only way we could do that would be if we flew and the $$ just isn't there
right now :(  She couldn't tolerate a drive of more than an hour, sadly enough.
 She's got a bad case of fibromyalgia and arthritis..amongst other things.  It
would be just too uncomfortable for her.  That's why I'd hoped to have someone
stay with her if we decided to come to the picnic anyway.. but we've decided to
just stay home this year <g>.  We'll make it next year I'm sure :)

OH!  There's a calico kitty who was meowing outside my window for two nights
hahaha.. a tiny tiny kitten.. I think it's mother is "gone".. probably a victim
of a drop-off or maybe it's momma was killed by some other cats in the
neighborhood (heard some nasty fights recently).  Anyway, we tried to catch it
because it was crying so much outside (you really couldn't sleep for all the
meowing!!! (g)) but it kept running away.. it was so terrified of people.
Finally I put a dish of milk outside for it, and gave up :)  The next day,
Alana told me her friend Micah next door told her she'd caught the kitten and
she'd bring it over for me :) So now I'm just waiting for Micah to do so :) She
said she'll probably come over tomorrow, so I can't wait :)
