Getting a ride to rehearsal this evening and will stop by
the store for foil, plastic wrap, and other sundries.

Roasting pan is no problem.

Ah. Experiment time then.

I'm hoping that her jello comes powdered; then it should be okay.
But her coffee and milk gel is definitely a no-no if it's in a
bigger than 100 mL container.

Liberty House Garden Court biscuits
cat: breads, Hawaii
yield: 8

2 c flour
2 Tb sugar
3 Tb baking powder
1/2 ts salt
3 1/2 oz butter
1 egg
1/2 c milk
1 egg, beaten with 1 ts water for egg wash

Oven at 350F. Butter a 9" round baking pan.

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter until
mixture resembles coarse sand.

Beat egg and milk and mix gently into dry
mixture. Do not overmix. Adjust texture with
a little milk.

Form dough into ball and turn onto lightly
floured work surface. Knead lightly while
forming dough into a circle.

Roll 3/4" thick. Place in prepared pan and
score through with a floured knife into 8
wedges. Brush with egg wash.

Bake 20 min or until golden on top and cooked
in the center. Break apart and serve warm.
