That is hard on the family--mom had to take both parent's parts but then
give up the dad role when he's home only to pick it up again a few weeks
later etc.  Kids can get confused on discipline issues too, especally if
dad tends to go toward one extreme or the other when he is home.

Really not too surprising, considering the stress she was under for a
while there.   Good to hear she's doing ok but I know yu're still
fretting.

Of course--it's peach season and she can't can any, make any jam, etc.
Also, okra and eggplant are coming in (got one of the latter at the
farmer's market on Saturday), tomatoes are still producing, and so on.
We've got a teeny tiny tomato on one of thee plants we put in the Topsy
Turvy about 4 weeks ago.  Steve says next year we'll do one with cherry
tomatoes, another with Romas.  Guess we'll have to get a 3rd for
peppers. (G)
