Yes, that's the truth <grin>.  Hey, got "Ominvore's Dilemma" today, and "In
Defense of Food" .. they were both on sale.. which was handy -  Omnivore's
Dilemma is great  :)  Thanks for mentioning it :)

I dunno :)  Here's a list of some of the stuff they offer there:

Pears Anjou     2
Oranges Navel  3

The above would cost $25.00 including shipping... they call this their "bitty
box" (very small).

As opposed to their LARGE box (this is the type I got last year that cost me
$60.00 every two weeks):

Tomatoes Grape         1.00 1 pint

They describe this box as: 5-6 fruit types + 9-10 veggie varieties. Now one of
these days I ought to go over to our grocery store (We normally shop at a chain
in the NE named Wegmans.. it's very much like Kroger if you're familiar with
that) and buy the same exact items lb for lb in the Organic Fruit and Vegetable
section :)  I don't expect to save a lot.  It seems just walking in to the
grocery store these days, causes the bill to hit $300.00

I can understand that :)  People want to be able to buy foodstuffs that do not
rot the day you get them home outside of the Supermarket Environment <g>

Yeah, it was handy.. They can't eat citrus, we can..  They like brussel sprouts
I don't (that's a joke <bg>).

That's neat :)  Since we moved back to NY from KY about 5+ years ago, I've been
gardening in my backyard in 6 raised-beds.. Need another bed this year <grin>.
In KY, I only grew tomatoes and potatoes.. was just toooooo hot out there for
me to really do much... In NY I complain about the cold like crazy, but darnit,
I can work easier here in the spring <grin> Heat and me don't mix <g>

Yes :) A couple of years, I ordered a slew of various chinese vegetables
seed... Dakon Radish,Bok choy, Cabbage.. geez, I can't even remember.. it was
really nice to be able to just "have" what I needed given what I felt like
experimenting with <grin>

Oh yeah.. my son is still asking me if we have any "Mommy Garden pototoes or
Tomatoes haha..

I think I saw it, and I grabbed it then.. but what the heck did I call that
file?? <laugh>.. needless to say, I think yeah, post it again :)

Last summer, I had two kinds of pototoes going butter and red.. they were soooo
good :)
