There wasn't really a bit of difference between MV's and other kettle
style chips I've had.  I find most of them kind of greasy, it's sort
of the nature of the way they're cut and cooked.

I noted that the bags I've had have all said that the products were
made in Canada and that the Miss Vickie's name was used under license
by Frito-Lay.  That sounds like Frito-Lay bought the company but the
Kerr family kept the name and leases it to FL.

[g] I'd expect that, they're a huge brand up there.  Still a niche
brand here.  I would like them to be more widespread, as I haven't
tried all the varieties yet, and I like an occasional flavored chip.

Seems like whenever a regional snack gets swallowed by someone else,
the quality goes to hell.  Humpty Dumpty Potato Chips used to be
made in Scarborough, ME.  Then they got bought out by some company
in Ontario and the chips were crappy.  Most recently, they've been 
bought again, by Old Dutch Foods (offices in US and Canada) but I
haven't found them recently to see how they're doing.

I'll keep an eye open for them.  I have to do more research
into "grill flavor" to see what goes into it, because I see
it listed exactly like that on labels, and it is rather high
in deliciousness.  There's a "grill" flavored chip down here
made by Herr's which I really like.
