Started some just a sec ago.  I'm hungry.  Regular medium grain with a few
bits of the leftover basmati.

If its just me or me and Charlotte, might stay hotel first night then see if
Janice minds a bit of floor space for the other nights.  I'd arrive at night
and not want to try to find her place after hours of driving, in the dark.

Makes sense and in your case, both can drive.  Thats not that bad if you can
split it for a bit.  Driving across country on the move from San Diego to
Norfolk, it was all me and I just took my sweet time at it.  Something like 6
days travel.  Generally 10-12 hours (including breaks).

I think I just slobbered in spots.

Making Miso chicken for our potluck 'tonight'. Major yum factor there.
