See, that's the reason that I am lobbying CostCo's bean counters to come to the
Great American Outback. And not just to do Scam's Club and China-Mart in the
eye.

Pizza Hut *can* be decent when there is a manager and crew who care. But, the
ones around here have become min-wage refuges for the incompetent and clewless.
Little Caesar's seem to come and go as some new optimist picks up a franchise,
loses his shirt and pauperises his family. A friend's oldest son was manager of
a pretty good Caesar's ... which did well. But, then he graduated college, got
a gig in his chosen field and that store was soon out of business. He's the one
who confirmed to me the secret of "Pizza Pizza" is to use the ingredients for a
single pie across two pies. They may have gone away from that lately - I
haven't indulged for some time. The only Little Caesar's location(s) I am sure
of around here is inside of K-Mart ... where they have taken the place of the
counter which used to sell El-Cheapo submarine/torpedo/hero/grinder sandwiches.

OK - fair enough. Do you have Papa Murphy's Take & Bake in your area? Those are
really good pizza.

       Title: Pizza w/Peanut Butter Topping
  Categories: Pizza, Nuts, Vegetables, Bizarre
       Yield: 12 Servings
  
           Dough for 2 lg pies
      4 oz Chunky Peanut Butter
      2 oz Wholemeal breadcrumbs
      2 md Carrot; peel, slice fine
      2 md Ribs celery; slice fine
      1 md Onion; slice fine
      1 oz Butter
  1 1/2 ts Marjoram
           Salt and pepper
      1 oz Sunflower seeds
  
  Recipe from: Waldine Van Geffen
  
  Pre-bake the dough for 10 minutes. Saute veggies in the
  melted butter for 5 minutes, or until just tender. In a
  bowl, and using a wooden spoon, mix together the peanut
  butter and breadcrumbs to make a paste. Stir in the veggies,
  herbs and seasoning; if too dry, add a little water or milk
  to moisten mixture.

  Spread over the prepared bases; top with a sprinkling of
  seeds; return pizzas to the oven for 10 minutes more.
