We got one of those while in Savannah but got rid of it here & went back
to the air popper.  Storage constraints were a part of that decision;
the crank handle on that took up room that could have been better used
by something else.

Someone years ago gave us the hint of using the non stick sprays for
giving the popcorn a light coating of fat that would allow seasonings to
adhere.  It's really, not that much of a problem and there are lots of
"butter flavored" ones on the grocer's shelves.

Never had one of those.  The first hot air popper had a little dish that
you could put some butter in to melt from the heat of the corn popping.
It worked sort of OK; we really didn't use it that much.

I don't use butter flavored Crisco so we used canola oil with our stove
top popper.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, but then, I usually am reheating chili for 2
people.  I'll do it at a lower power setting for a longer time, stirring
it from time to time.

OOPS!  We learn by our mistakes.

I never had a round loaf machine.  Te first 2 made tall loaves; the one
I got a couple of years ago makes a more traditional shaped loaf.  It
also has 2 paddles; in the knead cycle, they will momentarily pause and
then reverse themselves.  Sort of took me off guard the first time I
used it.  Also, that machine will "walk" in the initial knead cycle if
I'm not careful so I try to stay nearby just in case.............
Haven't had any go over the cliff yet.

That's one thing we've not figured out how to make with a hot air
popper.  If there were some way we could do it, I'd probably make it
more than I should & then look like a popcorn ball. (G)
