If I want a big bunch of bacon in a hurry I deep-fry it in saved drippings.
Then drain on newspapers. I also buy 5# packages of "Ends & Trimmings" to use
for flavouring and garnishing. I usually always deep-fry this ... then drain on
the aforementioned newspaper and freeze what is not used right away for future
reference.   Bv)=

I think my microwave bacon cooker is a lot like yours - except that mine is a
slightly squished oval rather than round. Other than the shape (and having a
pour spot for the collected fat) it's along the same lines as this one:

I get the idea that the square version in that URL was designed for nukers that
do not spin the food as it nukes it. The round version (such as you have) makes
much more sense if your microwave has a merry go round inside.

Oh, yeah, I cover the bacon I am nuking with (wait for it) ..... newspaper.
Sure does keep the spatters down. Haven't done multiple layers, being single
and living alone. A single layer is usually sufficient for two to three BLT
sarnies, etc.

If doing breakfast bacon & eggs I fry up the bacon first and remove it to the
ubiquitous newspaper to drain whilst I cook the eggs in the bacon grease.

      Title: Impossible Bacon Breakfast Pie (Quiche)
 Categories: Breads, Eggs, Pork, Chilies, Cheese
      Yield: 4 servings

      1 lb Bacon
      1 c  Bisquick baking mix
      4 oz Can chopped green chilies
      6 oz Dairy sour cream
      1 c  Monterey Jack cheese; grated
      3 lg Eggs
  1 1/2 c  Milk
           Salt & Pepper
 
  Brown, drain and crumble bacon. Put in bottom of 11" X 7"
  greased dish. Top with onion and cheese. Put rest in blender
  for 1 min. Pour into pan. Bake at 350øF until it tests done
  with knife (35-45 min)
