Nah...when one drops dead I switch to the other and make a run to the 
local propane place, there's lots of them here, the next day.  A lot of 
the newer RV's have an auto-switch for the tanks, this one doesn't. 
Only problem is that it will auto-switch and unless you check for it the 
other tank will run empty also, makes everyone grumpy when it gets down 
to the 50's inside at night while you wait on something to open.  Which 
is why I won't use it on the other RV, plus our coffee maker in it is a 
stove-top model.  Only had to do that once!  It's only about a 2 mile 
drive to where I get it filled.  Price is $2.29 per gallon plus sales 
tax there, but there's a place about 1/4 mile away at $2.61+tax IIRC. 
The tax kicks the price per BTU up to make it just about as expensive as 
electricity.  As to the convenience...we've gotten into the habit of 
grocery shopping in drips and drabs, we're out and about daily.  The RV 
is to small to hold lots of provisions, even with the shed, as it's only 
about 375 square feet.  The shed is about 8X16' and has a spare, small, 
fridge in it which will fit inside the RV if it dies (the auto-switch 
electric/propane models are pretty damned expensive).  But it does have 
a neat flat roof with a stairway/railing on it, and it's 12X16' up there.
