Actually this one is FIDO's fault. It's Dave's doing. Trying to use a different
BBS with different software before fully learning how to solo on that system.

Nope. Mindy has been in Baja Oklahoma for 20 years (and two husbands) or so by
now. So, I have lost the urge to reach for that one. Although, if I ever see
one like it at the Sally Anne or other Op-Shop I'll grab it in a Sarasota
Second.

I bought one of those "As Seen On TV" pasta pots - with the strainer in a
lock-on lid. It came with a smaller (8") pot nested inside. I actually use the
smaller pot more than the big guy.

Well, the Lowe's and Steakhouse things are business deals. My place (Auto Zone)
gives a 10% discount to military (retired or active) and public safety
personnel (cops, firemen, etc.) All you have to do is ask for it and show your
ID. 

I take advantage of senior citizen discounts where offered. Most chain
restaurants and many "locals" offer some form of senior discount.

But, what I was referencing was the person-to-person version of "community".
And how it is sometimes confounding to some folks to see it in action. Which is
why I often perform random acts of kindness. Just to leave people scratching
their heads.   Bv)= 

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Bul Kogi (Korean barbecue)
 Categories: Oriental, Beef, Bbq
      Yield: 4 servings

      5 lb Beef short ribs
      2 cl Garlic; crushed 
    1/4 c  Sesame seed; toasted,
           - crushed
      1 c  Green onions; fine chopped
      1 ts Pepper
      1 ts Sesame oil 
      2 c  Soy sauce
      1 c  Sugar 
    1/4 c  Oil                           
 
  Place short ribs in bowl. Add garlic, sesame seeds, green
  onions, pepper, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar and oil and
  toss to coat meat well.

  Cover and let stand at room temperature 2 hours. Barbecue
  over coals or run under broiler, turning and basting often
  with marinade until meat is tender.
