This is true.  My sister and I divvied up some of the family jewelry a few
years back.  I didn't care too much who got what, since my niece is going
to end up with all of it anyway.

My favorite skirt is also the favorite of a friend's three year-old; it's
bright screaming red velveteen with a big floral print.  It started life as
an early 70s maxi wrap skirt.

That would be one of them.

Now that's the good kind.  I didn't make my own this year, but did do the
original design.  One of the photo websites printed them up.

Me too.  Finish one baby quilt, then finish the next one.  Run up a bigger
one for a friend who doesn't know it's coming.  
 
-> Then don't do it.  I had to do a quick job of marking a hem last week; I
-> didn't have the luxury of the time I usually do, nor did I have my
-> tools.  But, it turned out perfect according to the young lady who
-> needed the job done.  Sometimes I get so caught up in a sewing project
-> that I forget to get something out for supper. Having a freezer of quick
-> (home made) meals and a microwave in which to thaw/heat them helps in

That and having a second cook.
