Try that sometime with a California order for medical
marijuana. Anyhow, even in the case of personal treatment
drugs taken into the US, the rules are somewhere between
draconian and incomprehensible, sometimes both. See, e.g.,

where personal-use drugs off scrip are unchallengeable
only under certain strict constraints.

You would do well to do so, especially as your own capacity
to determine same appears to be compromised at times.

I've gone through the whole range of statins and have had
adverse effects from all of them, leading me to believe that
the regimens are not for me and to guess that the problems
are likely to be underreported among the general population.

I keep a supply handy just in case I have a hugely gross
meal (say, a pound of pork belly) - this off-label use has
been frowned upon, with the public told to never, ever do
it; but physicians disobey their own advice, and I've seen
them use them for this purpose.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v7.07

      Title: Kalter Kartoffelsalat (Cold Potato Salad)
 Categories: German, Salads, Potatoes
   Servings: 6

      6    Potatoes; Large *
           ;Boiling Water
    1/2 ts Salt
      1    Onion; Medium, Minced
      3 tb Vinegar
    1/2 ts Mustard; Prepared
      1 ts Sugar
      2 ts Dillseed

  *  Potatoes should be peeled and quartered.

  In medium saucepan cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.
  Drain, reserving 3/4 cup of potato water.  Dice potatoes.  Add oil and
  minced onion; toss gently.  In small saucepan bring the 3/4 cup potato
  water to a boil; pour over potatoes and onion.  Keep at room temperature
  for 2 to 3 hours.  Stir in vinegar, mustard, sugar, and dillseed.  Potato
  salad will be creamy.  Serve at room temperature.
