Well, I'm behind too and again out of rice. Also out of white flour I think
but need to check the freezer first to be sure.

(trot trot trot)... Yup, out of both. No biggie, I can use the whole wheat
for bread if I want to. Normally I mix it with white but can work with just
whole wheat for a bit. I think I have several of your breadmaker recipes for
that. Wouldnt hurt to toss me a simple one though! I dont have any molassis
handy but have honey and brown sugar if it needs that.

Naw, I can get it easy enough. JUst used to white here is all. Perhaps next
trip I'll get a small bag of brown and try it on Charlotte.

Yup. At least his tour in Rota was shore.

Nope, moving mid-year. For rent sign is back up and they are gone already.

Neck went out but it's getting better last 2 days. Chiro tomorrow and I'm
going to talk with him about this 'popping my back' thing as that exactly
what *seems* to have caused this past 2 weeks of pain. Perhaps that is part
of the process but not so sure.

Neat way to work out a visit there! I no longer have any family up that way,
at least none I know of.

(On cookbooks, favorites)

Well my Hari book is next to me still from that last typing. It's open to a
nice one for a shoyu boneless pork butt. I think that was the first time I
used Mirin.

Truely it would! Either way, I mixed miso with milk and some honey and liked
the effect. I skipped the sesame oil as it didnt seem to match this time.

I forgot the rest of that one to MM I think. I can do it in my sleep though.
I make many variations on this.

That would be a winner if it works well!

(Cash is now snoozing on the sofa with Don again, having watched most
studiously while Don rescreened the last of the porch).
