Definitely not.  The stuff from street vendors isn't always trustworthy,
but a real chain would be.

They were midwestern tourists, IIRC.  Mom knew better; she's from New
Jersey and spent summers in the Catskills.  There are some places with no
Jewish population even now, and back then you didn't necessarily learn that
stuff.

I've had fruit ones here, but the cheese is common.  Honey would work great
on a cheeze blintz.  Cottage cheese?
