The man we bought this from said that he grew and proccessed his own.
Other than the bread not rising quite as much (could have been from the
cold house too), Steve said the bread tasted good.  Might look into
buying a quart or 2 next time.

It does sound good.  Both Steve and I have diabetic moms so we're sort
of beginning to watch our sweet intake.  It's harder for me because my
sweet tooth is bigger than his.

I think I'd rather have it than Karo if I knew the grower/proccessor.
We just put in an order for Montanna Wheat with a co-op Steve found
online. It's not organic but chemical/pesticide free.  We ordered both
soft and hard, for a bit more than we paid Whole Foods for the 50 lb
sack of hard last summer.  Next order will probably be just hard, and a
really good cost.

Now that's old, calling for cake yeast.  I rarely see, except in older
recipies, the use of cake yeast.  Same as most modern ones don't call
for scalding the milk and letting it cool.
