-> We had those in some of the classrooms in my school. I went to a K-12
-> all in one building central school built in 1939.  There were quite a
-> few schools in the area like that--small towns consolidating one room
-> school houses in the vicinity.  We merged with another school in the
-> area just before my sophomore year of high school but still weren't very
-> large.  I do remember the cafeteria serving what they called "corned
-> beef hash" but it was given the nickname "Alpo" by students. (G)

I always took lunch so very seldom
got to eat what the cafeteria put
out.

can do things for your mom, like 
take her to appts and grocery 
shopping and such? Hope any news
