I was never really in it. All's I had to do was put that
silly instrument under my chin (no, naughty Daves, not THAT
instrument), and all sorts of young women would follow me
various places. Sad that the ones who really really counted
(1975-78 and 2007-09) were immune to those charms. Sadly,
I can't say that it was because they were unmusical, either
- the first was the first flutist in one of my orchestras;
the second was the manager of another of them.

I admit, I ate them too. The saltiness combined with the
soft sweet squishy mass-produced bread made an acceptable
if horrific sandwich. The really sad thing is that there
was generic imitation Carl Buddig as well back then.

I have an 1100 flight, but I'm having StupidShuttle come
at 0430 to see if I can get an earlier out. Problem being
that Boston is supposed to get 4" after the storm is
finished dumping on here (it's been puny and pathetic so
far, but who knows what's going to go on overnight).

Title: Chicken Stroganoff
 Categories: meats, relishes/preserves, chicken, crockpot, pork & ham
Yield: 4 servings

6    skinless boneless chicken
     -breast
1    sour cream
1    cream of mushroom soup
1    Lipton dry onion soup mix

  Mix all together and put into crockpot.  Cook on low for 4 -6
  hours or until chicken is tender.  Serve over cooked noodles or rice.

The sad thing about the above recipe is that the result will
not taste altogether bad. I recommend using thighs, though.
