From my experience, and from anecdotal from many others, this is yet
another place where there's a wide variation in how people's bodies
respond to things...  :)   I know of people that could hardly handle any
fat at all... and then there's ones for whom it really doesn't make a
perceptible difference afterwards.  I find that my reflux has more of a
bearing on whether or not I tolerate fats than my lack of gallbladder.

I agree with the basic advice you give, though... especially the
determine on how you feel after a meal.  :)  And I said a similar thing
(without quantifying) about the 5-6 small vs 2-3 large... ;)

I'm finding, also, that the newer breed of doctors have been getting
some nutritional training in med school... along with some training in
listening to your patients...  A welcome relief... ;)  (We're getting
back to the old-fashioned GP, in some ways...[g])
