I almost always eat fried chicken at all buffets. Mostly
because I won't waste that much oil by myself and take
the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of others' largesse
as I can.

Because the quantity needed to make an inventory addition
worthwhile on the corporate scale exceeds the quantity that
gizz-o-liver aficionados were projected to consume, I suppose.

In California, I take it that C places are still allowed to do
business. In New York, will they shut down the Cs?

That's kind of, er, cute, is that the right word.

I think there's a point at which a bottom-tier health rating
might be balanced by excellence of food. I'd eat anyplace that
I thought wouldn't be imminently dangerous, if the food was
good enough.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Guacamole
 Categories: Appetizers, Numex
      Yield: 1 Batch

    6-8    ripe avocados
    1/4 c  Finely chopped onion
      1 lg Tomato, diced
    2-3    minced jalapeno peppers
      1    Clove garlic, minced
      1 ds Cumin powder
      1 ts Lemon juice
           Salt to taste

  Peel and pit avacodo.  Mash coarsely with a fork, leaving bits
  of whole avocado.  Stir in remaining ingredients.  Serve on
  lettuce or as a dip with tostados.
