If they still have them all saved up when you go back, just collect them
and refill them with more meals for later... ;)

My parents were similarly 1921 and 1929...  A lot of their mentality
(and that of their parents) rubbed off on me, probably more so than on
some of my younger siblings...  :)

Maybe his recent health problems will cause a bit of shift for him.  As
long as my Daddy was doing most of the lifting, he didn't worry too much
about whether or not Mommy would be able to do it, since of course, he'd
be doing it for her... As the Parkinsons made him less capable, there
were subtle changes, such as in the size of containers bought, etc.
