Were you on cable before?  We didn't sign up for it here.  Just as well,
we're usually too busy with the books to watch much tv anyway so cable
would have been a money/time waster.

I think I'd rather have lightly salted than no salt at all. But, yes, if
you needed something glatt kosher, there was no way you could have made
it so chips were probably a wise choice.

That's a rough age.  Did you have junior high or middle school? I had
junior high, as did my older brother & sister right below me.  The other
brother & sister had middle school.
