Ärende: around the house
========================
Hi Hap,

-> Sounds like a good deal all around. Sub gets a job she likes, Anne gets
-> a sub she likes and kids have consistancy in teaching.

 hn> Yep, and it does make a difference!

And in the long run, that's the results you want.

-> hn> I was the cook from the start, Anne can
->  hn> cook, but (a) doesn't enjoy it like I do, and

-> As long as you're both happy with the deal. We talked a bit with my
-> parents tonight; they've been enjoying the various meals we brought up

 hn> After 37 years, we've eache pretty much
 hn> found our niche and we work well together.
 hn> Works for us, which is the only criteria we
 hn> require.

For sure! Same as I do most of the cooking around here but will defer
to Steve for some specialties. I just put together a sloppy joe mix for
our church small group meeting tomorrow--ground beef & turkey, 3 colors
of bell pepper (traffic light), onion, crushed tomato and some chili
powder. My 12 quart stock pot is 2/3 full. That mix on hamburger buns,
tossed salad, dessert and soft drinks--simple but fills the stomach.

-> hn> whether they are fully capable of dealing with
-> hn> real issues or want to pretend that they don't
-> hn> exist. Which happens a lot actually!

-> I know; and the kid is the one hurt by the parent(s) trying to deny a
-> problem exsists.

 hn> Some don't deny it, but have no clue as
 hn> to how to deal with it..

Those are the ones that will really help their child once they know what
to do.

.Although some are
 hn> so far in denial they're speaking egyptian (grin)

OTOH, that child will have to rely on help from outside the family. Even
that could be an issue tho, if the parents are in so much denial that
they won't allow any sort of help.

-> hn> To be expected, you're retired military!

-> For almost a year now. I still miss some aspects of it but am
-> adjusting. With Steve having a different class schedule every semester,
-> I don't have the consistancy of him being gone from 9 to 5 (home for
-> lunch at some assignments) that we pretty much had the last few years.

 hn> You can still throw him out of the house at 5:30 am
 hn> and yell GO PT at him! (grin)

Not quite that easy. This semester he's got a class that meets at 7;30
am on Tuesday & Wednesday (Hebrew), one that meets at 9 am on Monday
(Ethics) and one that meets at 9 am on Friday (Church History).
Thursday mornings he doesn't have anything until chapel at 10 am, then
he's done until 6:30 pm when he's got Evangelism until 9:30. Tuesdays
he stays on campus until after chapel, then comes home for lunch & goe
out for chapel choir at 2. He registered for fall semester yesterday.
Super busy on Tuesdays, somewhat busy on Wednesdays and Thursdays & no
classes Monday and Friday but will be doing homework.

-> hn> Spoke with her yesterday and she had a
-> hn> "sleepy" day, took lots of naps but felt
->  hn> pretty good...at least that's what she

-> Some people take it better than others. Then, too, first treatment is
-> just beginning to put the stuff into her system.

 hn> She had her second session yesterday, we'll
 hn> find out soon how it went.

And, I thnk it's around the 2nd or 3rd that the hair loss, if any,
starts to happen.

Catch you later,
Ruth
