-> -> Thursdays are easy cook/clean up nights.  Tonight I made pizza from
-> -> scratch--kneading the dough for a few minutes, chopping some onion &
-> -> bell pepper, grating cheese, etc.  The wrist did pretty well but I'd not
-> -> done any thing that would have strained it a lot since Friday morning.

->  hn> celery and carrots that I thought I'd
->  hn> use during the week. Celery sticks and
->  hn> carrot sticks are easy to dice and even
->  hn> though it only saves a few minutes it does

->  hn> $5 worth of chuck...had it sliced very thin
->  hn> (think philly cheesesteak thin) and did a
->  hn> teriaki stir fry for dinner...came out great!

-> Yummy.  The chapel choir had an evening concert at a church about 45
-> minutes from Wake Forest last night.  Supper was included since they had
-> a sound check in the afternoon.  Spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed
-> salad, garlic bread and peach cobbler.  Since I'd missed most of their
-> spring concert (class), I went up with Steve for this one.

It was good! Good for three meals as
well! (grin)

Thought about it...and would have no place to
put one! (sigh) Used to have a 26 cu foot one
but that was before we got a dining room table!
Today when I went to the store they had a 
sale on chicken thighs...88cents a pound, so
I grabbed a good sized pack and made 
chicken stew for dinner...came out GREAT!
and enough for three more meals!
 
-> -> I use the bag or box of salad, with extras added.  We're cooking again
-> -> next Sunday (main part will be done on Saturday) for our Life Group at
-> -> church.  Last month we did the kalua pork & fixings; this month will
-> -> probably be sloppy joes, salad & dessert.

->  hn> Yep, we do the extras as well, blue cheese
->  hn> crumbles, shredded parmesan, bacon, cucumber
->  hn> cherry tomatoes, diced bell peppers etc.
-> 
-> This salad will just have cucumbers and tomatoes added to the mixed
-> greens.

Whatever we have on hand goes in. I try to
keep a good selection for salad ingredients
handy so we can vary them at least a bit!
