Hi Ruth,

The early issue of the range (which is what we bought at lowes, on sale)
allowed water to seep into the electronics where the stove top edge met with
control panel in the front of the stove, it was two pieces. After I invoked
the warranty (g), the repairman came from Whirlpool and replaced the entire
stove top, with one that had a one-piece section into the control panel. Good
bye problem (g). Bad engineering I guess (g).

There are a lot of new drugs out there now for asthma.

It's hard to live with.. I remember how many precautions I had to take with my
daughter.. no rug in her room, damp-mop the floor down every day, wash the
walls down as frequently as I could.. no dustcollectors or collections of
"things" laying about the room (or rooms in the house, either). I was glad
when she outgrew it, for the two of us (g).

>> problems in dogs these days. We get them an organic good dog food, not

That will do it.. then again, sometimes when a dog is neutered, it happens
regardless of how much you feed it (or don't..). Priscilla is a great
example... poor girl was getting 2 cups twice a day normal feeding for her
breed.. I cut it down to 1 cup twice a day, and still it didn't help. I even
switched her to what the pet store told me was the only real "diet" dog food on
the market, and she still had problems. She lost some weight but not enough.

> Very good one, actually. (G) Same goes for the fridge. In our last 8
> months or so in GA, we had the fridge swapped out twice. Steve caught
> the one going bad, just when he got back from Las Vegas following
> Sarah's birth. If he'd stayed a couple of days longer, we'd have had

It's one of the reasons we're hesitant to rent the upstairs apartment. We'd
have to be ready for such occurances or rent to someone with the understanding
that they'd be responsible for bringing and maintaining their own. We may do
it someday.. not our idea of fun, though (g).

Take care,
Janis
