Heheh - These girls and Leo are more independent than other kitties I've had...
probably because they got along so well all by themselves before they were
found. Leo is an expection to that sometimes with his long fluffy tail.. he
loves to jump on your lap and demands attention (g).  Lizzy can be demanding at
times but I think that's related to "check my food bowl please!" (g)

hahahaha - good description :)  It's like the Queen decided to grant an
audience sometimes :)

===Home-made Yogurt===
1 quart Milk
Yogurt starter or 1 tablespoon plain yogurt

Equipment:
Thermometer
Large dutch oven or pot with lid
eight jars with lids
plastic garbage bags stuffed loosely with plastic shopping bags.

Yogurt maker with jars and lids

Bring milk to 160F or just boiling but do not let it boil. Allow milk to cool
to no less than 107F Pour milk in one container.  Stir in yogurt culture or
spoon of yogurt into that one container, stirring gently.  Split that container
among all the other containers, then fill the rest of the way with milk.  Put
tops on the containers.  Place in yogurt maker and leave for 7 hours in a place
where they will not be disturbed.  If you are using the large pot/garbage bags,
place one or two garbage bags in the bottom and sides of the dutch oven (I
stuff them with plastic shopping bags to make them insulate the pot).  Place
jars in insulated large pot. Put another garbage bag on top of the jars to hold
in the warmth.  Place in an oven with the oven light turned on, and leave for 7
or 8 hours.  Refrigerate the yogurt containers when done.
