Cash will eat anything <g>. Lst night as I finished off the duck broth, he
got all the skin as his 'wet food' and was extatic over it. He spent much of
the rest of the night sniffing in the direction of the momma crock he cant
reach. Heck, thats fair as Charlotte and i did the same!

True from what I've heard. Cash doesnt run all that much but likes a chance
to chase about a little with a ball. We need to teach him to 'fetch'. He
runs after the ball but doesnt pick it up. (It's one of the tougher
tennisball looking things that can handle strong jawed dogs yet soft enough
and small enough for him).

Definately. For example, a beagle should be happy to knarf a rawhide bone
for several days. Cash *eats them* in 20 mins flat. We stopped giving them
til we can check with the vet as we suspect he could face a choking hazard
there. He'll hold the bottom knot with his forepaws and chew the top knot
off in about 10 mins.

Oh, another thing Cash has is a slightly longer jaw than a classic beagle.
He's definately a scent hound mix, with a possible english bulldog someplace
in the not terribly distant past?

hehehe Hard to say! Either way, we upped his food and he seems happier. He
now gets 1 cup in morning plus a little wet 'something' or broth added to the
dry. At night, he gets 1/2 cup dry kibble (Eukabana) and 6oz wet from a can.

Fed on all dry, he developed minor constipation.

He likes Dashi. Daisy also likes dashi. In Cash's case it goes over his dry
kibble and in Daisy's case it goes in a small knosh bowl with about 2 TB
worth. Cash will eat food with chicken broth but doesnt really like it.
Beef broth is waggy tail and dashi is whorlwind tail.

                  xxcarol
