Ärende: Dogs, Cats, and Picnics!

That's good!  She'll have fun doing it, I bet.  The kitties here have finally
gotten the message that 'Mom doesn't appreciate seeing' their successes hehe.
It was driving us crazy. First it was a bird (or two :( ), then it was a
snake.. then mice.. all deposited in the kitchen just for me to see.. of course
the pups and Toby try to swipe whatever the kitties bring in.  Meanwhile, I'm
calling for Ron to get something quick to get this critter out of the house :)

Has to :)  You have to expect some destruction with labs, it's just the way
they are.. that or get up at the crack of dawn and start running with them to
exhaust them for the rest of the day.  Full-bred labs are smart too, they know
when you don't want them to do something - they respect your wish that they
don't jump over the fence, even though you know they could, that kind of thing
(g). These two are a mix so I'm hoping the lab genes are dominant.  So far it
seems they are.

Not a problem - understand.  We got two from a rescue center that is about 45
minutes away from our house.

First we were just going to get one, and I made Ron come over to my system to
take a look at them.. You know how cute those pictures of puppies are :).. He
said, well, maybe we should get two not one, since Toby is probably about 8 or
9 now and this way the pups will keep each other busy.. (ha). So we did get
two.

They are yellow-labs mixed with "something".. we don't have a clue what the
something is - whatever it 'was', it had freckles kind of (looks like where
different colored hair might grow, but it's the skin) on the stomach and white
tips on the tail and feet.  :) :) They are brother and sister. Drew, one if my
grandsons named the boy pup Indiana Jones (Indy for short), and I kept the name
the rescue used for the girl, Sophie.  Indy looks like standard yellow lab all
in all.. Sophie looks more terrier in some ways.

Indy is going to be a very big boy given the size of his feet :) He and Toby
rough-house all the time, and then you see Sophie just throw herself into the
pile - They are comical to watch :) Toby is very happy these days (g).

We are STILL working with the pups to NOT chase the kitties :)

I bet :)  And I bet she just grabbed that stuff you gave her with no complaints

Sounds like Lulu.  She refuses to be harrassed by the pups, and claims her
space at the bottom of the bed every night snuggling up against my feet.  The
other kitties sleep in the living room I think.. that is when they are not out
hunting :)
