MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Amway's Shrimp & Pasta in Garlic Cream Sauce
 Categories: Seafood, Pasta, Sauces
      Yield: 

    3/4 lb Frozen cooked/peeled shrimp 
      4 tb Butter
    1/4 c  Diced onions
      4 tb Garlic powder
     12 oz Jar roasted red peppers;
           - sliced
      1    Cube chicken bouillon
      2 c  Half & half
      2 tb Parsley
           Salt and Pepper

  I noticed that frozen cooked shrimp was on sale. So, I went
  with that and also picked up some angel hair pasta and
  roasted red peppers in a jar. I figured I'd search for a
  good recipe online when I got home. I found a few recipes,
  but nothing that was exactly what I wanted. I ended up
  cobbling together a few different recipes and some of my own
  ingenuity. I must say the resulting meal was so delicious, I
  had to share the recipe. Feel free to substitute, add, and
  subtract whatever you want. Add some Parmesan, use real
  cream or real garlic, or you could even sub $2 chicken for

  Bring half & half to at least room temperature. Warming it
  in the microwave for a minute or two will do the trick. Set
  aside. 

  Melt butter in a 2-qt. saucepan over medium heat.

  Add onions, cooking them until translucent. 

  Mix in garlic powder. Mixture will be clumpy.

  Add red pepper slices and bouillon. 

  Pour in half of the half & half, stirring constantly to
  incorporate butter mixture and smooth out lumps.

  Once sauce is smooth, add the rest of the half & half.

  Stir in parsley.

  Bring to a near boil and turn down heat to simmer for 10-15
  minutes. Sauce will thicken a little. Stir occasionally.

  Meanwhile, heat frozen shrimp in a frying pan with 1
  tablespoon butter. Sprinkle with a little garlic powder and
  parsley. Drain when hot.

  Serve sauce over angel hair pasta or linguine and top with
  shrimp.
