I've been to Raleigh many times, have family
there as well (Morrisville). I rather like Raleigh
when the weather is "right" but I don't care 
for the entire south during the high humid days
of summer! And from what I understand from
relatives who live there, even during the 
biggest drought, the humidity was still
unbearably high!

I remember going there as a child, and 
the biggest thing I remember is that it
was a sweltering humid day that felt like
I'd been in a hot shower all day.

Well, they were cold, refreshing and 
portable on a hot day running around!

According to Anne, the heat which has been 
horrid, and the humidity which has been 
equally so, have actually been rather nice
for her back...other than all the sweat involved!
