Never heard of the can of beans idea but doubt I'd try it anyway.
There's all sorts of liquids we can try so it'll be fun experimenting.

No, ours is basically a circle of metal supported by a wider circle
surrounding it.  Smaller one is elevated a bit but it's only a one
chicken size.

We usually do it in the oven if we do it inside.  Don't have room for a
rotisserie gizmo.  We also buy the pre cooked ones from time to time,
especially when we can get the marked down to $3.00 ones.  We'll buy 2,
cut them in half, freeze 3 halves and munch on the last one for a bit.
Then when I need a quick meal, I've got a half chicken to thaw, add some
veggies and something like rice.  Easy when there's school work
deadlnes. (G)
