And we've all agreed with you. I tend to think that Wal-Mart is a
tool of the international Red Chinese conspiracy.

Possibly ... though the major corporations have periodically
realized the value of good publicity to the eventual bottom
line - vide Target and the orchestra that you heard on July 4,
Texaco and the Metropolitan Opera (now kaput), and so on.

Entirely unclear to me what the relationship is, except that
there are in fact members of the Walton family on the Walton board.

Sad about Maryanne's pension. It seems to be a common thing
these days, the rape of pension funds, but how it's justified
either legally or morally I can't see.

Spinach feta frittata
Cat: breakfast, nasty
Servings: 4

1/2 c frozen or cooked spinach, room temp
8 lg eggs
1/3 c crumbled feta
1/4 c chopped onion
s, p
1 ds nutmeg
1 Tb olive oil
1/4 c shredded Swiss cheese

Squeeze spinach to remove excess water. Beat
eggs. Gently mix in feta, onion, salt, pepper,
nutmeg, and spinach.

Heat broiler with rack 4 in from heat.

Heat olive oil over medium heat in nonstick
ovenproof skillet. Pour in egg mixture and tilt
to distribute evenly. Reduce heat to medium-low
and cook 3 or 4 min until bottom is light golden,
tilting pan and lifting the edge with a spatula to
let uncooked egg flow underneath. Sprinkle with
cheese and place under broiler until the top is
set, about 2 min. Slide frittata onto a platter
and cut into wedges.
