Hi Carol,

 > CS> (Should have mentioned, this was at Harris Teeter. A high end yuppie

 > Those stores are fun ones to explore. Fresh Market is somewhat like

CS> Yes, I always get a little lost in there but I try not to go too often
CS> as i end up getting other stuff too (saving a trip later) then get
 CS> major sticker shock.

I know; that's why it's best to shop near the end of the pay cycle. (G)
Trouble is, when you get something that you like, it's hard not to buy
more once you run out. Steve likes the turkey bacon at Fresh Market so
if we don't have any on hand, he has to get some if I need to go there
for other things.

CS> Today, we had several trips to make (vets etc) but hit up BJ's on the
CS> way. I signed up for a free estimate for a year round sun room
CS> addition (we are thinking they might be a really nice way to go for

Sounds like a nice idea. Might save you a lot in the reconstruction of
it vs what you are doing.

CS> of 'stuff' (wince, but most is a 3 month or more supply). 60$ of that
CS> was IAMS dog food and canned pedigree wet foods etc. With a garage to
CS> store excess, we make a quarterly big trip for things like 100
CS> garbage/leaf bags, 48 rolls of Scott toilet tissue 85 pellets of
CS> electrosol for the dishwasher. You know. 'Stuff'.

I know; we do that from time to time as well. Then it's always fun
finding the stowage space.

 > CS> I just made a trip to the Oceana exchange. First time there. I
 > CS> skipped the commisary as my car was packed with yard stuff (plants

CS> Definately busy here. It's planting time for sure. I need 2 more of
CS> the little blue flowered perennials for the border and 3 more sacks of
 CS> potting material.

Get yourself over there before someone else decides to clean out hte
flowers.

 > CS> veggies, oddiments (steamed buns, prepared sushi), another duck etc.
 > CS> I'll post the bounty later ;-)

 > I saw that. (G)

CS> The spicy sushi was just onolicious extreme!

We've not had any since we left HI except the couple of times we've been
to an Asian buffet. They make it fresh in the commissary and Fresh
Market but we've just not picked any up.

 > CS> Sorry, mislead you by accident. That wasnt Krogers but Harris Teeter.

 > It's OK, I generally refer to Kroger when I mean Publix and vice versa.
 > They're building a new Publix on this side of town--should be open in a
 > few weeks.

CS> I am curious about publix but we do not have them here. It's Kroger,
CS> Harris Teeter, Food Lion, and some other odd bits of things with those
 CS> being the mainstay.

No Piggly Wiggly? BTW, The Publix will open on Thursday.

 > CS> Oh my. I'll have to look up when Easter is. Must be close? I think
 > CS> Charlotte is still young enough to enjoy a big easter egg hunt. We

 > Get hopping; Easter is this coming Sunday (the 23rd).

CS> Got 3 dozen eggs a warmin' now <g>. Caught it in time. Hidden (lord
CS> knows where, I havent seen it!) is a huge basket for Charlotte. Next
CS> door kid (Christopher) is gonna find at *least* 12 of the 24 we plan
CS> to put out with Charlotte's connivance <g>.

CS> Joe next door, wants to hide 6 of them and then settle back under our
CS> shared tree to watch. (technically his tree, about 1 ft into his side
CS> and mostly shades my driveway).

 > Sounds like fun, for all ages.

CS> Yup! From Joe at about low 70's to Chris at 5, we are just gonna have
 CS> a little fun <g>.

That sounds like the recipe for a good time. Our church had an egg
hunt--hid something like 1200+/-. Had a report yesterday they were all
found in about 10 minutes................and we don't have a whole lot
of kids in the church.

 > CS> last night. It almost bust out the top of the machine! I think I had

CS> Same here. Perhaps a little more gluten than needed?

Tinker with it; with mine, it was more often when we lived in AZ at
almost a mile above sea level. Now that we're pretty much at sea level,
it doesn't rise as high.

 > CS> crockpotable I bet. I am thinking to use it somewhat like others
 > CS> might use barley. Texture is about right.

 > Soup would be a good use for it. Also try it in fried rice.

CS> Cholestrol has fried rice a rare thing for us. But soups and stews
 CS> are always here.

I use maybe 2-3 tablespoons of oil in my fried rice, less if I'm using
pre cooked meat. It usually makes 4 or more servings too so it's really
low cholesterol.

 > CS> I need to clear the Eddo (dang, whats that in english again? humm.
 > CS> I'll think of it). Anyways, need to clear the eddo from the baby
 > CS> crock then have some ideas to try.

 > CS> (about 1/8 cup once softened in the duck broth), straw mushrooms (the
