I mentioned it to Steve; he said that they probably wouldn't be
interested. My parents are NOT(!) foodies; my dad's idea of adventuous
eating is frozen (then baked) pepperoni pizza. This is a step up from
when I was a kid.  The only pizza he ate then was from the boxed (Appian
Way) mixes with a bit of cheddar cheese added to the dried out, stale
parmesain that came in the box.

Another problem is travel.  They only live about 90 minutes from
Binghamton but rarely go over there. The main route to get to Route 17
(I-86) is a 2 lane (one in each direction) road around a reservour for
about 30 miles with hairpin curves, etc, then another 20 or so miles
still on that road to get to 17. Wildlife, especially deer, usually
cause at least one accident per week on that road and it's not a good
one to drive after dark.  So, it was a wisp of a thought, vanished in
the bright sunlight of reality.
