Every kid is differnt, I found that out fast (grin)

Oh forget that one :) :)  This economy is for the birds... between gas and the
cost of food, I truly don't know how people are making it who don't cook for
meals from scratch.

This is a cheap one.. collected giblets.. which aren't always included in whole
chickens these days, interstingly enough :(

===Chicken Gizzard Soup====
1lb chicken-gizzards and hearts (livers too, if you like them in soups) 5-6
cups chicken broth or water
1 onion
2 stalk2 celery
2 carots
6 black pepper balls
1/4 cup fresh flat leaf parsley
Salt
Pepper

Put the giblets in a large soup pot and simmer in water or broth for 1 hour or
until tender.  Add the vegetables and simmer and seasonings and simmer for 1/2
hour more. Correct the seasoning. I don't like putting the livers in.. but I do
like throwing in things from my garden like spinach, or beet greens, green
beans.. :)

We're usually up working late on something and need to unwind so we can sleep..
Working at home means you work odd hours most of the time.. and more than
normal as well.

Once you get the sense of how to put things together, it's just like sewing..
except with food (grin).  btw, my daughter said she'd not heard of those
particular books but she'd read some of the mennonite books in the past. But as
I said, she told me at this point they're still not using any cookbooks and
don't see that changing, which I can understand :)

Sort of :) These were intentional though, not "goofs" if you know what I mean
:)  Just more improvisational.. not planned, or organized I guess you might
say.. not by recipe... that sense... I think you know what I mean by your last
example though :)
