At our BJs, the baby back ribs are more than $3.  The full cryovac pack
of spare ribs are $1.89 or $1.99 per pound.  The pack has two racks in
it, each perhaps 20 inches long.  At the local grocery stores, spare
ribs usually run about $3.99 per pound.  It pays to have a freezer:-}}

We've seen those.  Does look like a good buy.

Fish is something we will no longer buy from BJs.  We've been burned.
They keep the fish in a barely refrigerated cabinet out in the center of
the aisle.  Got some shrimp that really tasted off.  The salmon is a
reasonable price but comes in packets that are about three times what we
would want -- and most likely was previously frozen.  We buy salmon from
one of the grocery stores when it is on sale, and get just enough for
that night's meal.

      Title:  Grilled Chicken Breast With Tomatillo Sauce
 Categories: Barbecue, Chicken, Poultry, Tomatillo, Cilantro
      Yield: 1 servings
 
      3    Chicken breasts, split and
           -boned
           -garlic powder to taste
           -salt to taste
           -cracked pepper to taste
           -juice of 4 limes
    1/4 c  Fresh cilantro, chopped

MMMMM----------------------TOMATILLO SAUCE---------------------------
      1 lb Fresh tomatillos
      2 tb Olive oil
      1 sm Onion, chopped
      1 tb Garlic, minced
    1/2 c  Fresh cilantro, chopped
           Juice of 1 lime
      1 ts Sugar
           Salt and
           White pepper to taste
 
  From Sheryl Benesch, Korbel Champagne Cellars.  Accompanying
  champagne:  Korbel Brut
  
  Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and
  cracked pepper.  Combine the lime juice and cilantro in a bowl
  and marinate the chicken pieces in the mixture for 3 to 4 hours.
  
  Remove the chichen from the marinade and grill on the barbecue
  or a gas grill until done, 10 to 15 minutes.  Serve with
  tomatillo sauce.
  Sauce directions:
  
  Remove papery skin, wash and dry.
  Grill the tomatillos on the barbecue or a gas grill until
  soft.  Let them cool and blend them briefly in the food
  processor.
  
  In a skillet, heat the olive oil and saute the onions and
  garlic until translucent.  Add the ground tomatillos and all of
  the other sauce ingredients.  Cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
  
  Serves 6.
