I've been off the messages for a few days, due to life and other things but
catching up.  I know I skipped replying to some stuff and have to go catch
some back from 3 days ago.

Morning started earlier than I liked, with a trip to Portsmouth for the
spinal doc.  I have 2 herniated discs in lower back (he showed me the pics
and all) and one in the neck (afects the arm).  Great news though.  Evenm
though they have both been mishandled by delayed treatment, I do not need
surgery at this time for either set.  With proper treatment, I may never need
surgery.

In 2 days, I call and have a referral for a specialist type of chiropracter. 
He said I'll probably always have to see one at least sporadically, but due
to a high pain tolerance and the fact that I am starting to have sporadic
'good days' (in fact, today was one), there's a good chance they can get me
totally comfortable most of the time.  It's been to long for true physical
therapy so I will only have to do what the chiropracter has me do in that
line.  NO RUNNING.  NO IMPACT exercise.  Now cleared though to ride
stationary bike and my cultech as long as I watch the road and lift butt off
the seat if hitting a slightly rough patch (gee, I knew that one!).  Heck,
took the bike out for a spin Sunday anyways (was careful).  Anyways, if the
chiropracter set doesnt fix it up pretty well, I'm to come back and they have
some sort of steriod shots to try if that is needed.

Nuff on the back.  After that, I felt so good i finally did a belated bigger
commisary run.  I have plenty of canned staples (needed just a few things)
and dry staples (didnt need anything) but was getting low on meats and some
of the fresh veggies we like and tend to eat up fast.  Also was out of fruit
almost (3 measly tangarines).

Now, the commisary is not where I get fish, so that was skipped.  They have
ok frozen types so I got Don some shrimp, but the rest was beef, pork, and
chicken.

2 small (3-4lb) whole chickens, .69lb
2 lbs chicken wings (suprizingly only .79lb)
2 lbs chicken gizzards (1.39lb)
1 each bottom round roast and top round roast, beef, 3lbs or so each, 2.04lb
2 small 'pot roast' beef (1.5 lb roughly), 2.07lb?
1 small pork roast, 2lbs, 1.79lb
huge pack of pork loin thick sliced, 7-8lbs, for 15$ or so
1.5lbs ground beef, 1.89lb I think, 93% lean
1 lb smoked pork neck bones, 1.39lb
6-7 cans progresso soups
5-6 cans veggies (mostly corn)
1 small box dark brown sugar
red grapes
bannanas
Tangarines
green apples
leeks
Turnips
frozen shrimp
milk
eggs
2 loaves multigrain bread (a local good brand)
Breyers Ice Cream
Fruit juice popsicles
Tang
Sunny-D
some cheeses
20 1 gallon plastic bags (for freezing all that meat!)
large jar peanut butter and one of grape jelly
2 bottles of BBQ sauce
A few other items probably forgotten in there.

166$ and change.  Not bad.  Enough meat for the 3 of us for a month
