yeah... it is set to 70F and floats +- 2F... we just fired up the house unit
today... appraently it needs a dose of coolant as the air coming out of the
vents is 80F and the heat off the exchanger is no warmer than the outside air
it is trying to cool with...

on the other hand, the small AC unit in the computer room is churning out 60F
air... i need to get a fan in here and mounted near the ceiling to stir up the
air up there and blow it downwards... i'm also considering a form of ducting to
retrofit on the window unit to pull the hot air from the ceiling area... that's
gonna be fun and i'm sure it'll look "interesting" as well ;)

60F is fine for now... we have had some below 50F and i definitely woke up with
the blankets on ;)

i hear it... my travels have been delayed a day 'cause i now have to drive
someone else going with us and they can't leave till friday :(  no biggie, i
guess... myrtle beach is only 3.5 to 4 hours away... depends on which way i
want to go... the longer route, 160+ miles is the shortest time whereas saving
10-20 miles adds anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes and that's not taking into
account the traffic on the route at certain times of the day...
