Beats the tar out of me - I went looking to see if Switzerland still has a navy
- which used to consist of a super-annuated coal fired destroyer and a couple
PT boats based out of Trieste. Could find no evidence that anything but the
lake patrol boats is still around. But, I did find the other which I gave you
the URL for - as it looked rather droll. Once again - I have no idea why it was
called Swiss Navy. But, I am sure you mind can conjure up some sufficiently
scatological scenario(s).

Errrrmmmmm, Geln, "things launched from a Trident-class submarine" covers both
mega-ton ICBMs and Kilo-ton Cruise missiles - IIRC Tridents could do either.
Ask Hap for a definitive answer on that.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Trident
 Categories: Five, Booze, Wine, Citrus
      Yield: 1 shooter

      1 oz Dry sherry
      1 oz Cynar
      1 oz Aquavit
      2 ds Peach bitters
           Ice

  Tools: mixing glass, bar-spoon, strainer

  Glass: cocktail

  Garnish: lemon twist

  Robert Hess says he originally created the Trident, which
  he calls "one of my most successful cocktails," while
  working with Fee Brothers' peach bitters, but then found
  that Cynar fit perfectly into the flavor profile. "It's
  essentially a Negroni, just shifting everything toward a
  more obscure ingredient," he says.

  Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into glass, garnish.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Lamb Shanks Deluxe
 Categories: Lamb/mutton, Vegetables, Wine, Citrus
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      4    Meaty lamb shanks
    1/2    Lemon
    1/4 ts Garlic powder; or more
      1 c  All purpose flour
      2 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Pepper
    1/2 c  Salad oil
 10 3/4 oz Can condensed beef consomme;
           - undiluted
      1 c  Water
    1/2 c  Dry vermouth
      1 md Yellow onion; chopped
      4    Carrots; peeled, sliced in
           - chunks
      4    Ribs celery; in chunks
 
  Rub Lamb with lemon and sprinkle with garlic powder. Let
  stand 10 minutes.
  
  Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a paper bag.  Shake
  shanks one at a time in bag to coat with flour.
  
  SAVE FLOUR.
  
  Brown shanks in hot oil in large heavy skillet.  Remove meat
  from pan.
  
  Add 4 tablespoons of the seasoned flour to pan drippings
  and, using a wire whip, stir and brown the flour.
  
  Add consomme, water, and vermouth and stir and cook until
  slightly thickened. Add onion.
  
  Place shanks in large baking dish and pour over them the
  consomme mixture. Shanks should be in one layer only.
  
  Refrigerate.
  
  When ready to bake, place in 350øF/175øC oven, uncovered,
  for 1 1/2 hours.
  
  Turn shanks, add carrots and celery, and continue to bake
  for one more hour.
  
  Comments: And so fragrant while baking. Gravy delicious over
  Mashed Potatoes.
