Tell me about it!! (grin)  It just gets worse and worse.. Last week my system's
motherboard decided to give up the ghost (g).  It was a pretty old Athlon
system that had been running night and day for over 8 years or something :)

I should have realized something was up when my Ubuntu box on that old system
locked up like 3 times in 3 days :) But Ron and I had bought a 64 bit Dell
system at Staples about 6 months ago  so I swiped that one (g).  It was a REAL
surprise for the bargain price that day.. and at the time he said, that would
be a great system for your bbs.. I said NO way would I ever waste such a neat
system on my bbs haha.. you know , I was stuck in the 'have to use a
mostly-dead system' mode since it's 'just for the bbs' HA..

Anyway I haven't posted here or had time to read since.. After I finally got my
USRobotics modem working with a MosChip serial card on the Dell  (instead of
the internal Conextant modem which was REAL YUCK (grin)), I've  been working
with MySql and PHP my web page.. There were just some neat things I wanted to
do with my page, and I'm almost done with that.. And I've been  working on
 finally getting the FidoGazette out..A lot of the changes I'm making on my
page are related to that, so I'm trying to wait til I'm done with upating the
pages to release the 'gazette..  Maybe tomorrow :)

That sounds great!!  Let's see.. we 3 have ACs for downstairs I think, but I
think only one upstairs..will come in handy if you have one :)  I think we
could probably put one of the ones we have downstairs up there as well, if we
keep the other two going downstairs.

Oh that's great as well.. we have bought so many air mattresses it's sick Lol..
the dogs end up having a picnic on them.. and boom, they get holes in them :(

I think the one we have now downstairs is ok still.. have to check.. The
"puppies".. barely pups anymore hahaha .. got in the living room the day before
 yesterday and tore it to shreds :( :(  They ripped just about all the stuffing
out of the couch, chewed up one or two of the grand-boys toys, and you remember
maybe that round-backed beige kind of artsy chair in there??  They chewed off
 a big chunk of that one too :( We keep that room 'gated' to keep them out of
there.. but I should have realized that day that they were being just TOO
 quiet!!  Oh man, just more work (grin). I have two differnt bolts of
upholstery fabric I bought a while ago so at least I can recover them.. but..
there are lots of things I'd rather be doing (grin) .

Now lemme think... what great foods we can make...  Guess I'll spend some time
tomorrow reading this echo for ideas :)
