It's the sort of thing that tends to snowball, too... if the rep is that
one place has better produce than another, you'll see more people going
to the reputedly better, and then the other place the veggies sit around
longer and are more likely to go bad..  That's when the staff has to
super diligent at weeding out the going-bad produce...

This time of year, in state is more local than where Wegmans gets theirs
primarily... come growing season, Wegmans will be getting most if not
all the "normal" veggies locally again...

If you can get what you'll be able to use (and/or reasonably store) that
can make a lot of sense to buy that way... If the options force you to
get stuff you wouldn't normally use, or you have to get more than you
can deal with, it's not so much of a bargain...

We've not been quite so lucky, but at least so far it's been manageable.
Just enough snow atop the ice to give some traction... ;)

Patience, patience... ;)   But this is about the right time for thinking
and planning... and won't be too long before the cold-tolerant stuff
like peas could go in...  ;)  Do you have a miniature greenhouse set up
