She does a lot of the dinner cooking around here.  I'm often up to my
eyeballs in work.  Right now I'm praying my new monitor arrives before this
one conks out.  The whites are all pink, which generally means it's closing
in on its recycle date.

Leftover stew is usually better than fresh anyway.

True, but less than a week after surgery would be pushing it for a lot of
people.  One friend couldn't manage it after having some wisdom teeth
yanked.  On the other hand, he has other pain issues too.
