There is that, but I'm not really that good of an acceptor.

My watch went kaput - it uses batteries up every few months,
and before the batteries die, the timekeeping goes kaflooey,
whereas its first battery lasted something like 20 years
(it's a solar watch). So I installed Free Alarm Clock, which
I recommend highly, except the sound went out on this computer.
So I have been solving the issue by sleeping odd hours based
on when I have to get up, which means I'm self-inflicted jet-
lagged all the time. Which means that it feels like dementis
whether it is or not.

I've seen analog 24-hour clocks. They're handy but hard to
read. And there's no standardization, every manufacturer
coming up with a different clever way of distinguishing
day from night (or refraining from doing so). No agreement,
for example, on whether 00:00 is at the top or the bottom.

The restorer comes dozens of miles; I don't think it's a
warranty relationship.

There was no question of that, as it rang 14 as well. Turned
out to be a simple adjustment, which Rosemary has learned to
do so the guy doesn't have to trek all the way to the island.

Roy Rogers Crispy Fried Chicken
cat: celebrity, copycat, fast food, southern, main
servings: 4 to 6

8 Tb flour
2 Tb cornstarch
4 ts salt
2 ts Accent seasoning (msg)
2 ts ground black pepper
1 ts onion powder
1 ts powdered sugar
1/2 ts paprika
12 chicken drumsticks (or other pieces)
vegetable oil, for deep-fryer
2 ts powdered egg whites
12 Tb milk

Preheat your deep fryer to 375F. In a mixing bowl,
blend egg whites and milk thoroughly with a wire
whisk; set aside.

Measure dry ingredients into a gallon zipper bag,
close, and shake well to mix.

Generously coat the drumsticks with the milk-egg
mixture, and place them in the bag of seasonings.
Then shake the bag until well coated.

Drop into deep fryer and allow to cook 15 min.
(Fry no more than 9 at a time -- and if cooking 9,
go 18-22 min, eyeball 'em) When the drumsticks are
done, they will be a dark golden brown.

Remove crispy chicken and drain on a paper towel
lined plate. CAUTION! They will be very HOT, so
allow them to cool 5-8 min before serving.
