After a while they get tired of seeing the same old stock still sitting
there unwanted, and give some incentive... ;)

Still have to watch what you're grabbing... the orange sticker isn't the
only important bit of info..  ;)  I don't usually see anything reduced
more than half off unless they REALLY have to move it fast or are
discontinuing it...  and often not even then...  :)  Speaking of which,
I finally brought out those half-price tenderloin pieces from the
freezer on Monday... served them with the end of a bag of small red
potatoes and some fresh asparagus (on sale for 1.99/lb, down a dollar
from the week before, and down two from what it's been most of the
winter, definitely a BUY price)... since Valentine's Day was Friday (our
shopping day, when we generally grab something quick to eat there at the
store), and Saturday and Sunday were already spoken for, this was a
belated V-Day supper...  ;)

I see more of the head-scarfs on women now... permitted by employers as
acceptable dresscode...  We have an Islamic Center, built a few years
ago now... and many smaller places of worship all around town...

It could make an interesting school field trip, though... ;)
