Antique textiles and jewelry work on me.  Food samples of prefab food don't 
have much impact.  I can walk past your salty mozzerela sticks, but not the 
1940s Mexican sterling.

She didn't complain about the chocolate-covered Speculatus I snagged today 
either.  It's a small package of chocolate-backed spice cookies.  The local 
job lot turns up some interesting imports.

I'm probably doing a crab mac and cheese for a church group on Sunday.  I 
just hope the guys in the group will eat seafood.  Then again, some guys 
will eat anything if it has enough cheese in it!

Stop&Shop does that, touts it that is.  The others just have it around. 
The 
local job lot store is known for attracting oddities.  They also carry the 
entire line of Bob's Red Mill or close to it.
