A little soupy and goopy for that, yeah, but one can
always get empanadas and stuff like that.

It could be for multiple meals or multiple persons, and
in the latter case, we'd like to think eating together.

I suppose so - you can't very well have one saint who
stays home from church to do all the work.

El Yucateco? Means from Yucatan, so I should say so.

As far as Dominican goes, I just did a search for
"Dominican hot sauce"; there were 1390 hits, none
that I could see being very useful. And when I hit
page 3, the number changed to 28. "Haitian hot
sauce" yields 1390, which becomes 73. Jamaican,
which of course should be the king, 114000, which
becomes 132 by that same strange Google alchemy.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Low-Salt Caribbean Snapper - Sl 1/87
 Categories: Main dish, Seafood, Low sodium
      Yield: 12 Servings

           Vegetable cooking spray
      1 lg Onion; sliced
      2 lg Tomatoes; peeled and chopped
      1 ts Sugar
    1/2 ts Dried whole oregano
    1/4 ts Dried whole thyme
  1 1/2 ts Fresh parsley; chopped
    1/2 ea Bay leaf; crumbled
    1/4 c  ;water
      1 ds Hot sauce
      3 lb Red snapper fillets or other
           -lean white fish fillets
  1 1/2 tb Lemon juice
      1 sm Garlic clove; minced
      1 lg Onion; chopped
    1/2 c  Green pepper; chopped
      1 tb Olive oil
    1/4 c  Sliced almonds; toasted

    Coat a 13"x9"x2" baking dish with vegetable cooking spray. Arrange
  sliced onion in dish; add the tomatoes and next 5 ingredients.
    Combine water and hot sauce; gently pour over tomato mixture. Rub
  fillets with lemon juice and arrange in the baking dish.
    Saute garlic, chopped onion, and green pepper in olive oil about 3
  min; spoon over fillets. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 40 to
  45 min or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  Garnish with almonds. Yield: 12 servings.

  Each 3-oz serving: 147 calories, 23.5g protein, 3.4g fat, 4.8g
  carbohydrate, 62mg cholesterol, 22mg sodium, and 260mg calcium.
